Vi c: Three to stand trial for dismemberment murder
Three Melbourne men accused of killing a man then chopping his body into a dozen pieceswill stand trial for murder in the Supreme Court.
The severed left arm of 34-year-old EDWARD JOSEPH GUTKOWSKI was found poking from apile of rubbish at a tip in Melbourne's west in June last year.
DENNIS DE BONO, 43, and his two flatmates STEPHEN WALKER, 35, and MICHAEL CONCI, 24- allegedly killed `EDDY' GUTKOWSKI in a dispute over drugs, then distributed his bodyparts in wheelie bins around the suburb.
Four days after the first grisly discovery at the local tip, police recovered the restof Mr GUTKOWSKI's body except for his internal organs and head, which were never found.
Magistrate RODNEY CRISP ordered the three men to face a pre-trial directions hearingin the Supreme Court on June 6.
